Overview: The ERTMS Design TMS Engineer position, reporting direct to System Design Manager will as a responsibility have: Delivers software modules by ensuring detailed design and implementation of these modules. Specific responsibilities of the role: Contributes to the elaboration of TMS system specification & architecture, in collaboration with the TMS metiers Realizes development of (SW) Software of TMS modules Realizes the SW of TMS modules detailed design & coding Sets up the TMS enviroment tools Prepares and performs SW of TMS module debugging and verifications of his deliverables, prior to the ones formally realized by a dedicated V&V team (depending on Safety Integrity Level and associated Product development organization) Prepares the interfaces with other systems and support the integration Supports the testing team to perform the activities Trace own activities using KPI tools Keeps informed of the evolution of technologies Through his activities, contributes to TIS standardization by reusing existing solutions or by implementing reusable solutions Keeps a strong link with the IXL architect, HW designer, RAMS and V&V departments, through the whole IXL design cycle Applies processes and standards Contributes to continuous improvement (ROE, process, …) Experience Mandatory: Ability to configure and maintain Cisco switches and Cisco firewalls Ability to configure and maintain Cisco UCS platform Ability to set up a VMWare environment in an enterprise datacenter Ability to configure NetApp/HP storage Strong experience with Windows Server operative system Experience with Microsoft SQL Server with AlwaysOn configuration Experience on Microsoft platforms, in particular: Active Directory and GPO management, DNS, Failover Clusters, Hyper-V, IIS Experience on linux o.s.
