Position Summary:We are currently forming a new Java team to support a Telematics Control Unit for a well-known German car manufacturer. In this role, you will be part of a global team of engineers working in various Harman centers of excellence, as well as collaborate with engineers from both the car manufacturer and other external 3rd party automotive suppliers.What You Will Do:Understand customer requirements and presented HLD (High-Level Design)Create LLD (low Level Design) corresponding to presented HLDDesign software componentsImplement high-quality object-oriented code in Java SE embedded in vehicle's internal computing infrastructureAssure quality of created software components by means of unit test coverage and fixing SCA issuesWhat You Need:3+ years of experience in SW development including 1+ years of experience in Java programmingAble to work independentlySkills to understand the HLD and LLD and implement the components independently with high quality modular testable codeGood understanding of client server architecture and network protocols like HTTP, RESTAbility to summarize and debug common technical topicsWorked in SCRUM environmentStrong analytic skills and willingness to develop in Java SEFluent communication in English is a mustWhat is Nice to Have:Familiarity with automotive standards like CAN and Autosar is a plusFamiliarity with standards such as TCP/IP, Ethernet, SOCKS and MQTT is a plusCommunication in German is a plus#LI-Hybrid
