Requirements Programming Skills: Proficient in Java and/or Scala, with a proven track record of developing high-quality code. Kafka Expertise: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Apache Kafka, including the development of connectors. Cloud Systems Proficiency: Familiarity with public cloud systems (AWS/Azure/GCP) Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex issues related to Kafka integration. Team Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Continuous Learning: Demonstrated commitment to staying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to Kafka and cloud systems. Responsibilities Connector Development: Collaborate with engineers embedded in our team to develop robust and efficient Kafka connectors using Kafka Connect. Code Optimization: Continuously optimize and enhance Kafka-related code for improved performance and scalability. Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identify and address any issues related to Kafka integration, ensuring timely resolution of problems.
