Our Client is a Swiss Company related to blockchain technology. The team and clients are based in the greater New York area, but you will be supporting them remotely. Your working hours are 16:00 - 24:00 or 17:00 - 1:00. The company is a leader in managing both digital & crypto assets trading. By assisting the entire lifecycle infrastructure of digital trading assets, the company provides safe and hassle-free solutions for financial institutions. Your role is: -> To provide Level 2 Support, resolve technical tasks, and write secure, reliable, and maintainable java code; -> To work closely with the development team and project managers to ensure a fully functional and bug-free product; -> To manage the client-side support ticketing system (Zendesk); -> To write high-quality java code including bugfixes and small features; -> To maintain the knowledge database of frequently asked questions (Zendesk); -> To collaborate closely with the product development team, the head of development, and clients in prioritizing bug fixes & new feature requests; -> To implement and execute relevant Unit & Integration tests; debug and resolve technical problems that arise; -> To make sure deliverables are delivered on time with high quality. Your skills and experiences: -> At least 2 years of commercial experience in a similar position; -> Experience in logs and performance analysis of Java applications; -> Basic knowledge of Docker, Linux, bash; -> Experience in supporting applications built in Java; -> Understanding of the full software development lifecycle; -> A team-player attitude with the ability to work closely with colleagues.
