The role of Junior Accountant supports senior accounting staff in several general accounting by performing daily accounting tasks. This position is supportive in nature and plays an important role in the daily administration and operations of the Accounting team.

Responsibilities:
· Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
· Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
· Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
· Process accurate monthly fixed asset reporting, including disposals, additions, depreciation (book) for various US offices
· Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
· Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned
· Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
· Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
· Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
· Assist with other accounting projects
· Ensure proper archiving of all accounting documents
· Support the internal / external audit missions
The value you bring
· BSc/Ba in accounting, finance or relevant field
· Proven experience as a junior accountant
· Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen
· Good organizing abilities and attention to detail
· Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
· Knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant accounting software
· English Professional Working Proficiency
· Positive attitude, with a solution-oriented mindset
· Good communication and being a team-player
· Motivated by new challenges, strive to be consistently learning and improving
