Responsibilities: • Review and digest brief (price exercise and product development) information. • Carry out price benchmarking with suppliers, both in Europe and Far East, and negotiate with them for the best price, quantities, and delivery timescales. • Ensure all required information is completed in the system or tools used within the business. • Follow through on the full product development cycle and monitor / report on adherence to / challenges with the critical paths. • Request and manage samples, documenting and providing feedback to the appropriate stakeholders. • Kick off and monitor tooling processes. • Book and manage quality assurance and quality control activities. • Monitor productions, order management, and work closely with supply chain on deliveries (with the support of Logistics, Production Planning, and Operations departments) • Submit POs to supplier & ensure supplier sign off on POs. • Arrange transport of goods and track orders to ensure timely delivery. • Daily contact with the various account teams and support them with issue resolution. • Work collaboratively with other departments such as Procurement, Operations and Logistics. • Weekly status update reports to their line manager. Requirements: • University undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Engineering or related fields. No work experience is required. • Must have strong organizational and problem-solving skills. • Critical thinking & attention to details. • Resilience under pressure and be ready to work in a deadline-oriented environment. • Excellent computer skills (Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint). • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. • English is a must, other European languages or Chinese is a plus.
