As a Junior Data Analytics Engineer you will be part of a global team that is practicing the Agile way-of-working and collaborating with a geographically diverse business stakeholders to develop and enhance complex systems and/or software from user stories and technical/architectural specifications. As a Junior Data Analytics Engineer, your responsibilities would be:Working with your team, using our AWS-based Data Lake, Splunk, and other emerging capabilities to enable AI and machine learningAnalyzing and optimizing the HDE infrastructure to handle very large workloads of data, as well as AI and EDA simulation workloads.Add business value through data visualization & predictive analyticsContribute with your team being a strategic partner, and work with (business) stakeholders to define high impact analytical challenges and find innovative ways to solve them with data.Your departmentNXP R&D IT manages a large-scale design infrastructure which enables R&D activities in NXP. The design infrastructure consists of 10, plus servers located in 7 multi-cloud data centers across the globe. Most of the servers run Linux. The servers are part of high-performance distributed computing clusters (HPC) used for Electronic Design Automation (EDA) Simulations.Your teamThe R&D IT Hardware Design Environment team (HDE) supports over 8, IC designers throughout NXP, with compute, storage, network, and EDA licenses services. These services aim at reduced lead times and improved quality of our IC design projects.Our HDE team supports many key IT services which are utilized by our designers to complete their new product introduction and project objectives. Each of our services, (VDI, HPC, EDA Tools, and EDA Licenses), must function in unison. A deficiency in one service can impact the functionality of the design environment, and ultimately a design team’s business deliverables.NXP R&D IT manages a large-scale design infrastructure which enables R&D activities in NXP.
