Becoming a Junior GL Accountant at Capita:As a Junior GL Accountant at Capita you will join a dynamic Finance Shared Service team, where you can utilise your exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and maintain beneficial relationships with clients as well as colleagues. You will get an opportunity to build your knowledge and experience of finance and accounting, to work individually on projects as well as a part of the team.What you’ll be doing:• Month-end activities and reporting for CAPITA divisions• Production and submission of monthly reporting packs according to a strict deadlines• Preparation and analysis of the monthly balance sheet reconciliations• Preparation of month end journal postings (accruals, prepayments, WIP, deferred income)• Various reporting checks and analysis/reconciliation• Providing support to the UK based teams• Ad-hoc transactional activities during the month• Working with the SAP systemSkills you need to succeed:• Knowledge of or practical experience with general ledger (GL)• University diploma preferably in accounting, economy or finance-related disciplines• Excellent English skills (min B2+, oral and written)• Great attention to details and ability to analyse data and check its accuracy• Excellent analytical and communication skills• Strong aptitude for numbers and figures
