Junior Project Development Manager in Bucuresti

MYTILINEOS, a leading industrial company with a strong international presence in two Sectors, Energy and Metallurgy, is currently seeking to hire a Junior Development Project Manager based in Romania . Main Responsibilities : Assists in development of our renewable energy projects in ROMANIA. Assists the Development manager to manage and advance complex projects and achieve development and permitting milestones from greenfield prospecting to construction-ready status. Possess an understanding of the permitting process (wind, solar, storage), interconnection, and market frameworks involved in ensuring successful projects. Ability to travel to project locations to meet with landowners, permitting officials, and local officials. Works hand-in-hand with our Development Department, report back to our central office in BUCAREST (BUCAREST BASED is a must). Research all required permits for selected sites, coordinate with permitting consultants and attorneys to prepare and submit permit applications and other filings. Coordinates with electrical engineering consultants and work with utilities and independent system operators to file interconnection applications, scope electrical interconnection studies and advance multiple projects through the process towards achieving signed interconnection agreements. Interface with engineering, legal, finance, procurement, construction, energy marketing and executive team members to accurately define and mitigate project risks and provide concise updates on project status Requirements BSC in Engineering or Science 1-3 years of proven energy project permitting Knowledge of project development process and solar/wind/storage project Fluency in English is essential Strong communication and interpersonal skills
