Junior Software Developer - Electronic Archiving (m/w/d) in Bucuresti

Job Description:Responsibilities: - Onboarding of new applications, document and data types to the IBM Content Manager on Demand based electronic archive.- Development of REST services in Java to provide archive access to other applications.- Customization of the archive’s back-end through C based user exits.- Performance optimization of the DB2 database through new indexes and an optimal physical database layout.- Maintenance and adjustments of the JavaScript based web front-end.- Maintenance activities to upgrade the software components to newest versions.- Preparation and planning of the Google Cloud migration in 2023.Skills and Experiences:- Experience with software development in Java, JavaScript, XML, SQL and potentially in C.- Scrum based agile software development with an Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery approach.- Experience with on- and off-premise Cloud environments, Micro Service Architectures and container technology like Red Hat, OpenShift andKubernetes.- Fluent in English for the communication within the team and business.- Although not mandatory, basic German language skills would be helpful.Our values define the working environment we strive to create – diverse, supportive and welcoming of different views.
