SOFTWARE TESTER
Our route control team is seeking a smart and passionate software tester with good analytical skills and an ability to think out-of-the-box.
We build safety-critical software applications that allow trains to safely and securely bring passengers to their destination. Our product is conform with CENELEC SIL4 requirements, having a failure rate below 99,999999%.
Job description:
Test of complex and safety-critical application software for the railway field, including:
- Requirements analysis - DOORS
- Specification of Test Cases on Requirements basis;
- Implementation of Test Cases for subsystem test. Writing of test programs and test data;
- Automation of Test Cases - Java BeanShell, Perl, Bash ;
- Execution of manual and automated tests;
- Support of test environments, tools and simulation
- Evaluation of the test output (coverage, traceability, progress);
- Test documentation;
- Regular test reporting.
Requested technical competence:
- Bachelor Degree in Transportation or similar degree (like Computer Science; Electronics, …)
- Scripting knowledge (Perl, Linux bash or other scripting language)
- Advanced level of written and spoken English;
- German
