We work with FIS Treasury products, highly sophisticated treasury systems that help corporations and financial institutions manage cash and risk including debt and investments, interest rate and currency movements and connectivity for complex treasury departments. About the role: As a Junior Consultant in Managed Upgrade Accelerator team (MUA), you will provide a broad spectrum of professional consultancy throughout the duration of upgrade project across complex topics covering an array of FIS Treasury products.  To support our Managed Upgrade Accelerator team, we are looking for hands-on, highly motivated and results driven, Junior Consultant(s) who will together with senior team members work on: Upgrading client’s environmentsProject management Execution of test plans DocumentationAssisting clients during their User Acceptance Testing ProcessProviding customer training Technology optimization  The successful candidate will gain domain expertise of our FIS Treasury products and understanding treasury processes of our customers.  What you will be doingThe role of Junior Technology Business Consultant will encompass the project responsibilities related to managing and executing the Treasury Management System upgrades. You will be working very closely with the client, often involving custom configuration. Managed Upgrade Accelerator team is focused on solution optimization and delivering projects meeting the organisation’s specific needs. Position Responsibilities:Managing projects of Treasury Management System upgrades at client environments including handling timelines and customer expectations Based on your skillset (e.g. treasury, cash management, accounting, capital markets) you will provide specialist knowledge to the MUA team and customers as well as you will be expected to extend your knowledge to other functional and technical areas Providing training to MUA clients on new functionalities Overseeing application issues, IT issues and communication within FIS and client’s organization  The candidate will also…Thrive to deliver quality, can’t wait to find a problem, figure out why it exists and, of course, solve it • Be able to deliver against aggressive targets Be able to manage situations that others view as a crisis and steering a course through situations that result in a positive outcome Manage client’s expectations; deliver news and plans to clients in such a way that ensures client support, managing any given situation Work with other consultants in a supportive and collaborative wayA working consultant - someone who roles up their sleeves and gets the job done rather than oversight only • Will not require supervision but assess situations and call for assistance when requiredAbility to work hours to fulfil role as a consultant which will from time to time require work to be performed outside of normal business hours  What you bring: Essential Experience & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or IT, Computer Science o Position is not pure finance or IT but blend of skills o Candidate must have willingness & aptitude to learn Proven understanding of the Corporate Treasury space • Good knowledge and understanding of financial operational and business processes Knowledge of basics financial instruments (FX, MM, IRS, FRA, Bonds etc.) • Presentation, communication, and documentation (technical and functional) skills Ability to take complete ownership of projects including all relevant fundamentals such as risk and issue managementUnderstanding of databases (SQL and/or Oracle), distributed technology, tiered applications required and ability to interrogate databases or willingness to learn these skills Perfectly fluent in English. A second European language is an advantage  Added bonus if you have: Strong technical and functional awareness of the entire FIS Treasury Management Systems product suite Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Exposure to technologies (XML, MsSQL, SAP Crystal) Experience with testing and documenting test resultsKnowledge of the technology industry and its ever-evolving trendsExperience in understanding current consulting and project management practicesExcellent problem-solving skills Ability to take the initiative and work independently or in a team
