We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic Key Account Manager to join our team and drive business growth. In this role, you will focus on acquiring high-value customers, recruiting professional buyers and sellers, and nurturing long-term relationships to increase customer loyalty. You will be responsible for onboarding new clients, maintaining existing accounts, and consistently exceeding sales targets. This position involves both hunting for new business opportunities and farming existing relationships, all while delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to the overall success of the sales team. What will you do? Manage and develop Key Accounts OPENLANE has in Romania while vising them on the field and keeping up a good business relationship. Develop in close collaboration with Inside Sales Team the Target Accounts OPENLANE has in Romania while visiting these customers. Acquire new professional customers from pre-assigned opportunities from the Head of Inside Sales Europe or proactively searched by you. Win back lost valuable customers assigned to you, while combining both calls and visits. Build and maintain long-term relationships with both new and existing customers, increasing loyalty and identifying upsell opportunities. Demonstrate on site or online sales solutions to both buyers and sellers to facilitate business development. Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets while maintaining a driven, positive and professional mindset. Complete customer information in Salesforce reports while using the tool aligned with our way of working and best practices. Report regularly to the Head of Inside Sales Europe on customer needs for further development, respectively market and competition analysis (trends). Requirements Who are you? 4-5 years of experience in the Romanian automotive industry: previous sales role and or business development. Network in the Romanian automotive market is a plus. Strong sales and negotiation skills with the ability to effectively manage and close deals. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and build rapport with clients. Romanian native and English professional communication level are mandatory.
