Our client, a multinational pharmaceutical organization, is looking for an experienced Knowledge Engineer to contribute within a highly efficient environment, to drive (semantic) data interoperability for the digital solutions. Tasks: Collaborate in shaping the development and integration of data models and standardization into the product portfolio Co-drive projects to implement interoperability standards and digital products Generate new business insights from interlinked data sources (lab and clinical) by investigating innovative methods Drive the adoption and integration of interoperability standards including terminological resources (eg FHIR, HL7v2, LOINC, SNOMED) Understanding and managing key customers and stakeholders business needs Co-create solutions starting out from prototypes and MVPs Drive automation of data and software services Min Requirements: University Degree in Computer Science/Engineering related fields 3 years experience with data interoperability Strong software engineering skills and various programming languages such as Python, Java Background in data interoperability technologies, such as data integration, data standards and terminologies (FHIR, HL7v2, SNOMED or LOINC) Good knowledge in (meta) data management approaches such as relational and graph databases Strong stakeholder management skills Nice to Have: PhD degree (such as Software Engineering, Architecture, Data Science, Mathematics, Bioinformatics or similar Frontend programming languages such as Typescript, Angular, etc. Knowledge of data engineering and cloud skills Experience in the pharmaceutical/medical device environment and in diagnostics Job Title: Knowledge Engineer Location: Basel, Switzerland Job Type: Contract Aerotek, an Allegis Group company.
