Land Acquisitions Team Leader – Renewable Energy in Sibiu

Job Description On behalf of our client: an international group specialised in the development and construction of utility-scale solar PV, Antal International is looking for: Land Acquisitions Team Leader – Renewable Energy Responsibilities: A significant part of this role will be assisting, guiding, supervising and evaluating the land acquisition team to acquire land suitable for large-scale Solar PV projects with the possibility of BESS and hydrogen production Working within the Land Acquisition Team, you will undertake and manage information sessions, lobby activities with local stakeholders, and negotiate land lease agreements with landowners and farmers in the rural sectors. In cooperation with the team, you have an overview of the decisive criteria in the respective regions. Analyse potentials determined by yourself or published by planning authorities Support the development of the PV acquisition strategy - nationwide and in the regions Offer support to the PMs throughout the development process. Create and optimize the process for contracting new sites. Support the further development of our templates, tools and databases and take care of the improvement of our database. Identify and escalate potential project risks, assess risks on an ongoing basis and plan appropriate risk management measures Document the project in relevant systems Strong organisational skills and structured thinking Willing to travel nationwide regularly including office in Bucharest, when required. Ideal Candidate: Preferably completed university studies with a focus on energy and environmental technology, economics or geography/spatial planning. Experience of 7 years in the Renewables Sector preferably specifically Option and Lease negotiation and securing associated land rights. Experience in lease negotiation, and good working knowledge of relevant Landlord and Tenant legislation. A strong knowledge of the rural world and the agricultural world is mandatory. A customer-oriented way of thinking, coupled with an eye for economic feasibility. A confident and sovereign appearance, communication skills, negotiation skills and a high level of commitment and reliability. Willing to travel nationwide regularly including our office in Bucharest, when required.
