Mission:
Ensure supplier quality readiness at PPAP (production part approval process) stage for the full bill of material of new Turbochargers Launch. Develop Supplier Quality Processes and Procedures in alignment with the IATF requirements, provide the necessary tools and forms and deliver specific training to the users of the supplier quality procedures Maintain and manage supply base scorecard and related metrics, develop Supply Chain Collaboration Portal Responsibilities:
Develop Supplier Quality Process & Procedures and ensure alignment with Garrett Quality System and International Automotive Standards Promote and Lead initiatives to develop Best in Class Supplier Quality Processes in collaboration with Supply Base Process Excellence Team Maintain and update supplier quality manual Manage a Global Team of Launch Supplier Quality Engineers Support sourcing selection by providing factual supplier performance data Prepare and share monthly supplier quality reports Facilitate interaction of SQ&D with Application Engineering and Launch Sourcing teams to engage suppliers in the early development phases of a new product application Communicate to supplier and track completion of Customer Specific Requirements (Ford Supplement K, CQ9 Audit) Communicate to selected suppliers all program related quality expectations including: APQP Initial Timing Plan, Quality Targets (PPM, ...), PPAP (production part approval process) Level requirement Maintain Program related Quality documentation (TFC, APQP Timing & Open Issue list, PPAP, ...) Track Supplier PPAP approval, under responsibility of SQ&D engineers Represent the Supplier Quality function during Customer audits at Garrett Plants or during IATF and quality system audit Requirements
Knowledge of the International Automotive Standards (IATF 16949) Ability to involve and team with other business functions Leadership skills Familiar with basic quality tools and processes (PFMEA, APQP, PPAP) Ability to design and optimize processes to improve work efficiency Able to work with database to extract reports or perform data analysis Skilled with use of Microsoft tools (Excel, Power Point, Teams) Fluent in English (written and spoken) Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in automotive industry touching quality management system, APQP, PPAP Bachelor’s degree in engineering We offer
