Marynarska 12Form of employment: employment contract Operating mode: remote Full TimeRemote recruitment WHAT WILL YOU DO?Establish overall architecture decisions on program level in the team​Determine the software architecture inside the team and ensure the usage of established design patterns​Discuss requirements with the customer from a technical point of view​Design solutions for technical problems and creation of technical concepts (in English)​Design and Review MQ Series communication​Design and Review of batch processes​Providing effort estimations​Analyzing complex Cobol-based applications (Cobol, DB2, CICS)​Maintenance and refactoring of existing code​Implementation of new business logik​Implementation of database changes (DB2)​Coach/Develop other developers​Coordination of software build, delivery and deployment including documentation​Support 72h on-call availability​WHAT DO YOU BRING?Programming experience with a strong focus on z/OS, TSO and Cobol​Deeper Knowledge of working with relational databases and SQL, especially DB2​Good knowledge of the following tools and environments​JCL​CICS​DB2 Administration Tool like BMC or DB2ADMIN​SPUFI or any other SQL tool​Host Debug Tool (ex. XPEDITER)​MQ Series​Experience to work with Kanban Boards and collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence​Agile mindset and knowledge of agile work ​Familiar to work in a distributed team using virtual collaboration tools​Self-learning ability​Team Player​Nice to have:Experience to work in automotive industry, especially vehicle development​Basic knowledge using HP ALM / QC​Modern Mainframe development tools (ex. iDZ)​Working with eXplain Tool (for visualizing program structures and dependencies)OUR OFFER:Vehicle arrival and indentification tool development project for VW / Audi group.
