Next great challenge is coming:We are looking for a talented and experienced Level Designer who is devoted to creating great gameplay experience and memorable game worlds and would help us create top-notch gameplay levels on our partnered AAA titles for PC and Consoles. We are seeking Subject-Matter Expert, who will lead and develop Level Design expertise in the company, mentor colleagues, share your creativity, knowledge, and best practices with other level designers. BECOMING ONE OF THE DRAGONS YOU WILL: Manage and mentor team of Level DesignersPlay an active part in the recruitment of new candidatesDrive Level Design expertise within the CompanyBe responsible for developing level layouts, flow and balancing, within the limits specified by the game design and technical limits of the targetImplement major game play events to high quality, focusing on creating and implementing unique player experiencesHave a clear understanding of and experience creating environment design, gameplay situations, look and feel, AI, combat, strategy, game flow, and balanceRun and/or participate in meetings, reviews, and planning sessions as part of effective communication with the teamContribute to building a collaborative work environment across all disciplinesEnsure daily coordination with Production, Art, Tech, Game Design, and other teams — both internal and external teamsDecide on needed iterations through play-testing, usability, and live opsParticipate in prototyping to prove-out early design concepts EXPECTATIONS ARE CLEAR: 5+ years of industry experienceTeam leading experienceThe minimum of 1 Shipped AAA title with at least one of the current generation consolesSkills in prototyping/modding popular game engine (UE4, Unity, etc.)Familiarity with one of the scripting languages or equivalent experience on a game projectPassion for the industry and an understanding of market trends and stylesProactive work ethic, capable and creative problem solver who is not afraid of big challengesAbility to multitaskExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written Grow with us, we’ve got you covered Competitive financial reward (yes, we are fair enough)Challenges to raise your XPs score (professional trainings and conferences, internal mentorship)Health insurance, paid vacation and sick leaveCulture of diversity & inclusion to unite the most outstanding talentsCommunity of people who understand your game passion Join Dragon’s Lake Entertainment and take challenges you’ve always been dreaming about.
