Tasks The Duty Manager is responsible for: Establishing relationships with premium customers and facilitating the recognition of top customers Acting as customer care ambassador Conducting daily flight briefings with personnel Contributing proactively to the development and modification of procedures Steering, monitoring and troubleshooting all station related processes Fostering quality awareness and high service attitude Coordinating logistical support of audits by carriers and respective authorities Applying and maintaining the Safety Management System Maintaining all local instructions and system databases Having functional authority over the LHG and supplier staff members depending on local labor laws and regulations Making sure that the technical and logistical aspects of training activities are performed if role as a training coordinator is assigned by station manager Reporting operational irregularities Informing the Station Manager about process/product shortfalls Ensuring that there is communication flow towards passengers in all handling situations including complaint management Requirements The ideal Duty Manager should meet the following requirements: High school diploma/GED required Bachelor's degree desirable Minimum 2-3 years of work experience - thereof a minimum of 1 year of demonstrated work experience in ground operations is required Leadership experience desired English language required  Romanian language required German language desirable Must possess a valid driver’s license Knowledge of airport procedures and processes Successful completion of Training in Passenger Service and/or Aircraft Handling PC and aviation specific supported software- / tools including all MS Office programs Ability to work under pressure Provide exceptional customer service Strong interpersonal skills and work well with others Good communication skills Demonstrate an impressive level of commitment, professionalism, reliability, and responsibility in all aspects of their work Must possess a valid driver’s license Willingness to travel Shift work / overtime Outdoor weather conditions Noise pollution *Must possess a legal work permit in Romania
