Axway is looking for a leader that’s highly passionate about building a high performing engineering organization, who will work on solutions that span business-to-business integration based on our EDI products, multi-platform integration middleware that enable customers to exchange and transform business documents using a large variety of communication protocols and message formats.As an engineering leader, the successful candidate will own building and managing the engineering organization, solution development and delivery, and establishing and fostering the team culture. You will work with senior leadership, engineers, architects, product managers, and other Axway teams to identify the most important deliverables.We expect you to care deeply about building simple and elegant software solutions. Ideally the candidate should have a track record of delivering high quality technology products and services in a hyper-growth environment where priorities shift quickly. You should know how to prioritize, communicate clearly and compellingly, and understand how to drive a high level of focus and excellence with a strong team.A passion and discipline around operational excellence is critical. A high level of ownership and accountability is a must. Manage one or more teams to enable taking our software to market quickly; Take ownership of team; managing and mentoring team members toward deliverables and project completion; Work with senior leadership, engineers and architect(s) to form technical vision and strategy for our product and inspire teams to deliver; Improve team processes to increase effectiveness, improve product quality, and enhance work/life balance; Expand and improve our CI/CD automation process; Containerization of our environment up to production; Architecting and documenting our systems as they grow; Build, package and deploy systems that are highly reliable, scalable using cloud infrastructures; 6+ years of experience in software development; 3+ years managing diverse software teams; Strong history managing team(s) of engineers, including coaching and mentoring, 1:1s, and performance reviews; Excellent communication teamwork skills and ability to handle multiple tasks across multiple disciplines; Experience building, packaging and operating scalable infrastructure software or distributed systems; Expert in Agile development process; Strong desire to support and develop other leaders; Proven track record of hiring and managing diverse, deeply talented & high performing engineering teams; Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to executives and non-technical leaders: Nice to have Scrum Master certification; Experience working with remote teams; Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive; Keen ability to achieve stretch goals; Career Development and benefits:This is what our candidates can expect from us if they choose to join our team: Career development: Employee career development is one of Axway’s major company values; and we are deeply committed to helping them leverage the promotion and job mobility opportunities that are right for them.
