What you’ll doThe Retail Sales Manager provides expert knowledge to the Retail stores/teams delivering product sales and services directly to the end customers by matching the products and services to the needs of each customer through the Vodafone Retail Network and in line with Retail Sales standards and procedures. The Retail Sales Manager focusses upon the management of Retail Sales teams/stores within their designated area, who interact directly with customers and focus on increasing sales, exceeding sales targets, elevating the customer experience with Vodafone, developing customer loyalty and cross-selling through managing the customer experience. The. Customer base is mostly consumers but may also include some small business, SOHO (Small Office Home Office) and self-employed customers.Typically reports to the Senior Retail Sales Manager.Who you are* Assists, advises and coaches the Retail Sales teams regarding the sales experience, developing customer loyalty and cross-selling based on the customer requirements, clearly demonstrating knowledge of practical methods, techniques and work processes;* Responsible for Retail Sales figures for designated area;* Has full people management responsibility for Retail Sales teams within the area and contributes to setting direction, performance management and ensures teams comply with sales standards and policies;* Drives and maintains the advocacy of Self-Serve and Digital-First for solving non-complicated service situations;* Responsible for ensuring the correct provision of reporting, stock-taking, auditing and supply chain management is carried out for the area, within required timeframes and in compliance with Retail standards and procedures;* Observes and coaches team members to improve customer service and sales and suggests improvements to the sales process and experience;* Demonstrates strong communication skills, influencing and persuading teams to ensure effective collaboration across channels, and with other stores;* Engages with the local community and businesses ( shopping centre, events, local charities/schools) and acts as an ambassador;* Maintains relations with Customer Operations teams to ensure that sales channels provide consistent customer experience during the customer life-cycle;* Guides stores and teams to ensure they understand Vodafones and competitors products and services;* Ensures teams are aligned with the common goals, targets and focus areas ( launch of a key product).
