Manual QA Engineer (contract) in Bucuresti

Job Description Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities to meet project deadlines. Identify, document, and thoroughly track bugs through to resolution. Perform rigorous regression testing after bug fixes. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify and address system requirements. Monitor debugging processes and report results. Investigate the root causes of non-conforming software and suggest practical solutions. Track and report quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts. Stay updated with new testing tools, strategies, and industry best practices. Develop clean, high-quality scripts to automate testing of product functionality. Qualifications Proven work experience in software development or software quality assurance. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Experience in developing automated test cases using tools such as Protractor and Selenium. Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. Nice to have: Experience with performance and/or security testing. Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks or technologies. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines. A passion for staying up-to-date with cutting-edge QA tools and strategies. Experience with Android/iOS app testing.
