This role will involve using data analytics and insights to develop and execute marketing strategies, optimize campaigns, and drive customer engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, marketing automation, and a proven record of accomplishment of leveraging data to deliver impactful marketing results. As the driving force behind our data-driven marketing efforts, this individual will play a critical role in driving growth and maximizing ROI.In addition, the successful candidate will take on a trusted partner role, working closely with key stakeholders within the marketing department and across the wider business. This entails cultivating strong relationships, understanding their goals and challenges, and providing data-driven insights and recommendations to support their decision-making processes. By being a collaborative and strategic partner, this individual will help shape and influence marketing strategies, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. A strong ability to communicate complex data insights in a clear and compelling manner will be essential in gaining buy-in and driving adoption of data-driven approaches throughout the organization.Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a comprehensive marketing performance measurement framework, including KPIs, metrics, and data visualization dashboards.- Analyze marketing data from various sources, such as digital platforms, CRM systems, and marketing automation tools, to identify trends, patterns, and insights.- Provide regular reports and presentations to key stakeholders, highlighting key performance metrics, campaign effectiveness, and recommendations for optimization.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish marketing goals and objectives and define appropriate metrics to measure success.- Conduct in-depth analysis of marketing campaigns, customer segmentation, and conversion funnels to identify opportunities for improvement and drive data-driven decision-making.- Monitor and track marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and identifying areas for cost optimization.- Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in marketing analytics, and proactively recommend innovative solutions to enhance marketing performance.- Identify and implement data collection methodologies, tools, and systems to ensure accurate and reliable data for analysis.- Measure and report on the marketing funnel end to end, from lead generation to customer acquisition and retention, including all touchpoints and conversion metrics.- Collaborate with the marketing automation team to ensure proper tracking and integration of marketing tools and platforms, such as CRM systems, marketing automation software, and customer data platforms.- Develop and implement strategies to capture and analyze customer behavior data throughout the marketing funnel, including website analytics, email campaigns, social media engagement, and other relevant channels.- Identify gaps and opportunities within the marketing funnel and recommend actionable strategies to optimize conversion rates and improve overall marketing effectiveness.- Work with the marketing technology team to evaluate, implement, and integrate new marketing tools and platforms that enhance data collection, reporting, and analysis capabilities.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT and data analytics, to ensure seamless integration and data flow between marketing systems and other business tools.- Stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in marketing technology and tools, and proactively recommend enhancements or upgrades to existing systems.- Train and educate marketing teams on the use of marketing tools and platforms, ensuring proper understanding and utilization of data-driven insights for decision-making.- Provide regular and ad-hoc reports on marketing funnel performance, including detailed analysis and actionable recommendations for improvement.- Monitor and track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives, identifying opportunities for optimization and areas of improvement.- Collaborate with external vendors and agencies to ensure proper implementation and utilization of marketing tools and platforms.- Optimize nurture journeys for all channels of including outbound, inside sales, events and digital - Uncover opportunities to optimize conversion points across the marketing and sales funnel while partnering with other marketing stakeholders and sales; lead monthly deep dives on the lead funnel.- Design and document standard operating processes for automated lead hand-offs or recycling into nurture programs.
