Job Description QAD is seeking an experienced Marketing Web Developer who will work collaboratively within the Marketing Communications team as a subject matter expert and IT liaison to lead web focused projects and to advise on development best practices. In addition to being a web guru, the ideal candidate must have excellent project management and communication skills, be business (or better yet, marketing) minded and proactive by nature. The Marketing Communications team’s Web Developer will serve as a member of the Content team and report to the Content Manager, yet they will work cross-functionally with multiple other groups such as IT, Creative Services, Marketing Operations and Localization teams. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working independently while also joining regular team meetings to effectively communicate project status updates, challenges and feedback. This is a fully remote position based in Poland What You’ll Do: Perform work related to the development of web based projects and help ensure that marketing communication and business strategic goals are reached through the deployment of web development initiatives.Develop a partnership with the IT development team meeting mutual standards for security, methodology and performance and pushing design limits. Work collaboratively with business stakeholders in cross-functional groups to lead deployment initiatives on an established priority basis.Working with IT and the greater Marketing team, develop templates, structures and page frameworks that are flexible and scalable. Work closely with the greater Marketing team and IT to establish understandable methodology and documentation of projects and use cases.Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education/Licenses: BSc degree; courses in computer science and web development preferred.Experience: 3+ years.Computer skills: Must have: Javascript, Javascript frameworks (e.g. AngularJS, VueJS, NodeJS), CSS (SASS, Bootstrap), HTML, experience with a CMS. Nice to have: Webpack, Java, PHP, Data structure/architecture, localizations, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Marketo (Marketing Automation), Liferay, Wordpress.Fluent English communication skills both spoken and written are mandatoryAbility to balance competing priorities, expectations, timelines and scope, awareness of customer experience, knowledge of design concepts and best practices for web UX.A deep sense of ownership, accountability, pride and passion for your work.
