Mechanical Design Engineer for Series Projects in Sibiu

Vitesco Technologies is headquartered in Regensburg, Germany.We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer that will be a part of an international team and will develop, maintain and improve state-of-the-art products for hybrid/full-electric vehicles.As a member of our PE (Power Electronics) mechanical engineering team, you will be involved in ensuring a successful manufacturing of series products that not only make driving more affordable and environmentally sound but also work towards our department vision: zero-emission mobility.As member of our team, you will focus on series production phase (design cost improvement, problem solving, change management) while having the opportunity to work on complete development cycle (from requirement to customer delivery) of mechanical components, subsystems or complete projects of various complexity, using appropriate techniques for design and validation in accordance with company quality standards and design guide lines, in a given timeframe. You will manage component development, which includes: Requirement analysis and concept design; Perform tolerance calculations; Creation/Updates of technical drawings; Feasibility study in terms of manufacturing; Technical discussion with suppliers; Follow the internal company quality standards (Product Life Cycle, Review and release process, ASPICE compliance).  Job requirements: University degree from a  Mechanics related Faculty; Good theoretical knowledge on relevant disciplines (e.g. technical drawing, tolerance and dimensional control, mechanical assembly components, materials technology and strength, etc.); Good knowledge on mechanical design process; Good knowledge of a parametric CAD application and a PDM tool (knowledge of Creo Parametric and/or Wise is an advantage); Good knowledge of manufacturing technologies (die casting, injection molding, stamping, milling, turning/lathing, etc.); English – independent user; MS Office suite – independent user;  What we offer: Integration Program in a professional & dynamic team; Travel Opportunities – we know that you are missing this, se let’s hope that vaccination helps and we win our mobility back; We know that sport activities and reading books help us in our development, so these are also a part of our benefits; Work with passion and we will reward you accordingly; And because money isn’t everything, you will find happy and supportive colleagues  Working Time: Full-TimeYour Contact Partner: Tudose Cristian
