Responsibilities
- Manage maintenance activities for production units of the plant according to legal requirements and Clariant standards, in order to minimize downtime of equipment’s and assure optimal technical conditions for production,
- Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance, manage maintenance resources and spare parts availability,
- Ensure full availability of equipment for production, responding to breakdowns, diagnosing faults and repairing equipment’s maintenance interventions.
- Asses machines state, measure the performance of mechanical components devices and engines and propose preventive and corrective actions to be planned and executed
- Assist Technical Manager with planning and execution of overhauls, planning and execution of maintenance budget, project management,
- Prepares maintenance reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends (loss deployments, RCFA).
- Keeps equipment operational by following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures
- Create maintenance procedures and technical documentations, keep up to date maintenance database including technical drawings,
- Know-how management: technology improvement, process & cost optimization, training and guiding technicians in coordination with Technical Manager
- Assist Technical Manager with continuous improvement, safe interventions, cost efficiency and legal requirement
- Ensures compliance with Clariant policies regarding safety and environmental aspects, perform risk analysis for standard and nonstandard interventions
Requirements
- BS/Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or similar technical education or experience
- More than 3 years’ experience in maintenance departments,
- People management skills, team management,
- Analytical and project management skills
- Ability to drive improvements and to deal with uncertainty.
- Outstanding communication skills and ability to act in a highly complex environment.
- Very good English Language skills
- AutoCad will be an advantage
- Computer knowledge of MS Office programs or similar
