Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/innovative-medicine We are searching for the best talent for a Medical Affairs Manager to be in Bucharest, Romania Purpose: To provide scientific support to company’s key customers (internal and external); To initiate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders To increase awareness of disease management in specific therapeutic area by designing, developing, and delivering effective contents in company owned medical education events and by coordinating symposia in third party’s events and other continuing educational programs. To develop educational plans and ensure their execution once commitment from internal business partners and concept & budget approval obtained You will be responsible for: * To provide scientific support to healthcare professionals by providing educational presentations, responding to unsolicited medical information requests, and assisting in the developing of case presentations, scientific presentations related to a specific therapeutic area. * To provide scientific support to Leading specialists on a regular basis of minimum 20% of time as field visits. * To develop and provide scientific and clinical medical information to current and potential key opinion leaders/leading specialists/HCPs. * To coordinate continuing educational workshops, seminars and programs for physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and scientists. * To provide analysis of clinical studies, to ensure information integrity related to company's products. * To review product presentations for demonstration to the medical community leaders, medical groups, government agencies and healthcare systems. * To participate in creating the policies and procedures for development and provision of medical and technical information relating to the company’s drug products use.
• To deliver medical information to internal/external health sources.
To advise clinicians in the development of their own presentations. * To gather scientific, customer and market information, in an ethical manner, on pre-launch and marketed products, as directed. * To develop medical education and information plan and to gain commitment from internal business partners for achieving the organizational goals * To develop medical education and information budget plan and to establish cost controls to ensure that the expenses are in the approved budget. * To possess appropriate medical knowledge, continuously updating it, within the company area of activities, to be able to provide competent and balanced medical advice. * To contribute to the development of the Operating company strategy and to be aligned with it. * To take an active role in research related activities/medical information exchange between local MAF, marketing, external affairs, and upper management. * To ensure planning and execution of local Medical Meetings (Advisory boards, local symposia and conferences, round tables, workshops etc.). * As per the local SOP in place, to create educational materials, considering all medical, regulatory/legal, and ethical points of view, forward the materials for approval to the MAF Lead and to be responsible of the implementation of the approved materials. * Ensuring safety reporting requirements (timely AE/PQC reporting) as set out in company policies and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) are met and appropriately managed when planning projects, developing materials, executing projects, and contracting vendors. * Ensuring HCC and legal requirements are fully understood, appropriately managed, and complied with when planning projects, developing materials, executing projects, and contracting vendors. * Ensuring inspection readiness with respect to personal training compliance, and availability of a recent CV and individualised Job Description. The Medical Affairs Manager Role is an office based (80%) and field based (20%) role. Qualifications / Requirements: * University degree in Medicine, Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or other related Life Sciences * Knowledge of English language (fluent speaking and writing) * Relevant working experience of minimum 5 years in pharma industry * Collaboration & teamwork * Data analysis * Customer orientation * Strong analytical, communication, decision-making and leaderships skills
