About the role We are looking for someone with enough experience to develop features on their own, improve legacy code and work with the team on best way forward. Someone with a can-do attitude. At Physitrack personal growth is key to staying motivated. As a frontend engineer, you will be supported by your senior colleagues, your team leader and our Head of Engineering. Minimum Qualifications 3+ years of experience in JavaScript and React.js framework Ability to craft usable and maintainable CSS/HTML Understanding of modern web app & asset build pipeline Experience with testing framework (such as Jest, Mocha, or Jasmine) Software engineering experience outside of web frontend (e.g. past experience in backend, computer science education) Knowledge of best practices in software engineering and design patterns Solid experience with git (and various git-based workflows) Good written and spoken English Nice-to-Have Experience with refactoring old codebases Experience with Ruby on Rails or similar framework (like Django, Laravel etc.) Experience with CI & build pipelines Experience working in a product company Good writing ability (demonstrated by documentation, README, or blog posts) Experience with fully remote work What we offer Proper work-life balance Ability to learn new skills alongside senior engineers Flexible work hours in a distributed, remote-first engineering team Async work with as few meetings through the week as possible Smooth process following CI/CD practices 20 days of paid PTO + free bank holidays Team retreats one or two times a year Modern hardware Note : Position only available for UK or EU residents.
