Postgres (nice to have) Redis (junior) React (regular) TypeScript (regular) JavaScript (regular) NoSQL (advanced) Node.js (advanced) The Full Stack Developer is responsible for creating software systems that support the functionality of Promethean's products. The engineer is a member of an agile team focused on the delivery of key product functionality. The engineer will participate in the full lifecycle of the product from development to production and ensure quality software. You will be working on a web development team that supports our whiteboarding experience. You will be working on the frontend and backend of microservices processing payments, supporting simultaneous editing of projects, users permissions, notifications, exporting and sharing created projects, templates, cliparts and many others. Most of the work will be on the backend. Responsibilities: Create back-end web services to support web and mobile applications.Create sophisticated front-end web-based and hybrid applications.Develop high-quality code, following development standards.Write design documentation, as needed.Review the work of teammates to ensure quality and learn about the system.Troubleshoot and resolve customer/QA-found issues in a timely manner Participate and understand the development build, deployment, and monitoring processes with an emphasis on security, performance, and scalability.Work cross-functionally with UX and Product Management to analyze and suggest solutions based on requirements.Design reusable components by utilizing standard frameworks. Experiment with new technologies that can enhance our tech stack.Work with the engineering team to break down requirements and estimate work.Stay up to date on the latest industry trends in web, mobile, and cloud development.Create appropriate deliverables and develop application implementation plans throughout the life cycle.
