This Is Your Job Given enterprise architecture guiderails, identifies and collaborates on appropriate solution designs for a given the use case. Develops solutions adhering to relevant coding and security standards. Makes appropriate use of design patterns. Reuses appropriate Landmark artifacts and creates reusable code. Works to continually evolve and refactor the solution to find the optimum balance between speed of delivery, maintainability and reusability of the end product(s). Provides good test coverage across the solution. Understands and practices modern secure coding methods. Creates product related artefacts as directed which: Assists knowledge transfer to other developers, Provides a record of security and other controls that are critical to the integrity of the product, Enables support functions to manage the application in a production setting, Leverages a readable and self-describing code base that inherently communicates intent, Does not result in a disproportionate documentation overhead. Work with the appropriate delivery methodology, attending ceremonies and communicate progress through the appropriate tools and mechanisms. Follows standard DevOps practices using standard tools. Ensures the software produced flows through the delivery pipleine and quality gates. Manages code repositories with the appropriate branching strategy, approvals and controls. Executes due care around sensitive information, such as authorisation credentials, in repositories and pipleines. , Your Qualifications IT Degree or equivalent experiance Relevant technical certifications, such as Microsoft Developer expert Proven experience of web scale solutions on the Microsoft stack, specifically use of serverless functions APIs and messaging. Strong C# skills specifically web-based approaches and tools. Good practical knowledge of SOLID design principles and standard design patterns. Azure DevOps and Git hub for CI/CD Excellent Knowle of distributed source code management, ideally Git. Ability to analyse problems, determine appropriate solutions.
