Windows (nice to have) Linux (nice to have) English (regular) VPN (regular) Cisco (regular) FARA, a leading supplier of IT solutions to the public transport sector, is seeking highly motivated Network Administrator to join extremely talented IT Ops Team.About the role:Our company is looking for an IT professional who ensures that an organization’s computer networks—groups of computers that share information with one another—are operating to meet the needs of the organization. You will be a part of international IT Ops Team, with Team Leader and 3 System Engineers from Poland, Norway and UK. You will have a chance to use English on daily basis (actually, a lot of English - speaking, writing and laughing).Main responsibilities:Management of Firewalls and Switches in remote Data Center as well in the Company officesKeeping network documentation and diagrams in actual stateMonitoring of Company networkTroubleshooting occurred problems (including communication with internal users, customers and 3rd party providers)Suggesting improvements to the Company infrastructureClose cooperation with Development and Test TeamsOccasional On-callsOccasional travel to remote location (Tronhdeim)Let’s talk If you have:Working experience with Cisco ASA/Cisco FirePower/Palo Alto Networks Firewalls/Panorama (clustering, IPSec configuration, ACL, NAT, VPN)At least 2 years working experience with one of the firewalls (preferred two): Cisco ASA or Palo Alto Networks FirewallsGood understanding and experience with IPSec configuration, ACL, NAT, VPN, private APNWorking experience with Cisco FirePower and/or Palo Alto PanoramaStrong IT foundational knowledge and understanding of core network protocols and setupGood knowledge of security architecture concepts and enterprise architecture reference modelsExpert problem-solving skillsAttention to detailsEager to learnProven knowledge by Cisco Certifications or equivalentsExperience min. 2 years with networkWould be really nice If you also are/have:Experience with NextGen/Application FirewallsExperience with Network Security (Network Access Control, Zero Trust Access)Knowledge of network solutions available in Azure and CloudflareFamiliar with Windows and Linux operating systemsFamiliar with virtualization and containerizationExperience with automatization via scripts in scripting language (Python/PowerShell/Bash)Knowledge about latest trends in IT infrastructure and service security marketThings you can like about FARA and Ticketer Group: Remote work possibility- but you can always visit us in Warsaw office to have a cup of coffee togetherFlexible working hours- our core hours are 9:00 - 15:00 so you can choose what time you start or finish your daily work Being a part of our sport program (Multisport Card) and private healthcare program (Signal Iduna) Positive and friendly working environment- we don't have dress code, we call each other by name and we really dig team building meetings! Sounds good?
