Network and Security Engineer vacancy for a public sector organisation in the West Midlands £36, - £42, per annum - 36 days annual leave (including bank holidays), hybrid working pattern, generous pension scheme and other benefits.Hays Technology are working in partnership with a well-known public sector organisation in the West Midlands to recruit a Network and Security Engineer. To work as part of a Networks and Communications team offering high-quality services in network and security, cybersecurity, communications, GIS and covering these main areas:Network infrastructure design and maintenance.Firewall and security gateway configuration and management.Threat/vulnerability detection and intrusion detection/prevention systems implementation and monitoring.Voice and video infrastructure installation and support.Integrated Communications Control System (ICCS) telephony and management systems operation and development.Mobile device and Airwaves radio infrastructure deployment and troubleshooting.GIS mapping creation and update.We are looking for a Network & Security Engineer to join a team of experienced network & security engineers. You will be responsible for supporting and delivering network and Firewall solutions in a large enterprise environment.
