NMS Engineer in Bucuresti

Flint UK is looking for systems engineer will be responsible from the life cycle of the GX NMS system, by reviewing release notes, deploying releases/patches/new features to test environments, performing testing of them, and deployment of them to production. And providing post-production support for all system related issues. Engineer will also be responsible from the High Level Design of the Provisioning Product and production support for all order fallout on this system. The engineer is expected to be On Call Support for 24/7 in a rota for provisioning issues, and all NMS Related Incidents (system stability, provisioning, assurance data etc.) Principal duties NMS Management: The systems engineer will take the responsibility for managing day-to-day operational activities for GX NMS system. sing the test beds and automation tools. Engineer will also support the Provisioning Operations manager to plan and implement the deployment of new releases to the production network. Provisioning Operations: Working closely with the Inmarsat Network Operations (NOC), Global Technical Support (GTS) and Group IT the senior engineer will ensure that all operational issues associated with the interface between the NMS and SDP Provisioning and Activation (P&A) are resolved promptly and that any changes are documented and approved. Provisioning High Level Design: Responsible from writing the P&A HLD (High Level Document) for all business/technical requirements.
