ISMG is looking for a highly skilled full-stack web developer with an experienced background in front and back-end development and coding languages, development frameworks, and third-party libraries. The Full-Stack Node.js Developer will be a part of a cross-functional team and responsible for the full development life cycle, from conception to deployment, ensuring the responsiveness of applications, and working alongside graphic designers for web design features, among other duties. The Full-Stack Node.js Developer will be required to see out a project from conception to final product, requiring good organizational skills and attention to detail. Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop innovative solutions that meet business needs. Deliver our latest in-house built Marketing Platform. Coordinate with business stakeholders to provide end-to-end solutions. Work as a key team member alongside other application developers. Participate in full-stack code and architecture reviews. Optimize system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement. Maintain existing applications. Collaborate with other team members (developers, designers, product managers, etc.). Implement test-driven development practices (Selenium). Ensure code quality through thorough testing and debugging processes. Requirements A Bachelor’s Degree or higher. 6+ years of experience in a similar position. Good knowledge and understanding of object-oriented programming and SOLID principles. 6+ years of experience and an excellent understanding of Node.js Backend Programming Language. At least 3+ years of experience with Express framework. Strong understanding of HTML/CSS and Front-end frameworks (Tailwind, Bootstrap, Foundation, etc.) and CSS preprocessors scripting languages (LESS, SASS, SCSS, etc.). 5+ years of experience and an excellent understanding of JavaScript. Strong knowledge of one of the following JavaScript libraries and frameworks: jQuery React.JS Angular Vue JS 3 Excellent understanding of MongoDB. Experience integrating with 3rd parties via APIs. Experience managing source control using Git. Outstanding English verbal and written communication skills. Ideally, experience with digital marketing platforms and integrations (analytics trackers, content & email marketing, big data analysis). Experience with SQL Databases (MySQL), and caching solutions: Redis, Memcache. Experience with automation tools: Ansible, Jenkins, vagrant/docker. Ideally, experience with message brokers: RabbitMQ, search engines: sphinx, SOLR. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues. Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
