In this job position the experienced engineer will be responsible to introduce assigned products to production (ADVA internal and at contract manufacturers) and support the assigned products in production during the whole product life cycle:
- Support NPI builds (EM/FOB) during the development phase of a product
- Lead or support transfer projects
- Provide DFx feedback to NPI / R&D
- Verify test system together with Test Engineering
- Work with NPI, Test Engineering to guaranty a smooth implementation to production.
- Support assigned products in mass-production
- Analyze and solve product / test issues and implement changes
- Create and provide work instruction to production and define clear rules to follow
- Perform training of operators for product assembly and test
- Guaranty high standard product quality by reviewing of internal quality and RMA data. Drive activities to solve quality issues.
- Work with the contract manufacturer / ADVA production to resolve any product issue that may arise.
- Acquire the require knowledge to be consulted in any technical area in order to resolve any problems with the product.
- Suggest product, process or test implementation improvements that will result in higher quality or cost reduction.
- Act as local Counterpart in Flex Timi. Take care to address open Topics. Support Projects from any ADVA site touching Flex Timisoara

- Education in an Optical or Electrical Engineering or manufacturing subject.
- Experience in an optical or electrical manufacturing or engineering environment is preferred
- Aware or familiar with modern manufacturing philosophies.
- Ability to perform process development and/or product development in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of all standard MS-Office applications, SAP and Agile
- good English language capability in written and spoken
