NPI Team Lead in Oradea

Purpose Statement: Manage and support the execution of NPI projects. Serve as the focal point between the NPI team and the various groups within Manufacturing& Engineering to meet customer schedules, specifications and expectations.Key Job Accountabilities:Lead and coordinate the team to smoothly and timely implement new products in cooperation with the Process owners, SMEs and CFT teams.Takes a lead role in New Product Introductions, by designing, implementing and validating new processes and ensuring that production schedules are not delayed due to issues within his/her control.Demonstrate cost control ability by efficiently managing the use of the human and equipment resources.Demonstrated ability to investigate and solve complex production problems related to tooling, methods, processes, equipment, engineering specifications on parts, assemblies, products, etc. using Lean technics and report such as DMAIC/A3/QW.Lead and Support deployment of best practice activities for Oradea.Accountable to execute on Plexus’ Best People strategy, leaders will focus on evaluating potential, driving succession planning and ensuring that their employees receive the development and coaching required to realize their full potential.Additional Accountabilities:Responsible for coordinating the timely allocation of human resources and equipment required by the project to assure project schedule is met;Drive efficient implementation of new projects focusing on lead time, quality, productivity and cost linked with the expected Quote parameters.Continuously improve the processes in order to provide a faster and more reliable lead time for NPI projects.Responsible for providing status reports to upper management, to inform of schedule, and risk issues;Acknowledges and complies with the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards provided in the procedures and instructions that are specific to each field, documentation that underlies the proper functioning of the integrated management system of quality, environment, safety and occupational health.Additional duties as assigned.Education/Experience Qualifications:A minimum of a(n) Bachelor’s degree is required;3 years of related experience is required.An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.Other Qualifications: Organized approach to project planning;Ability to redistribute workload within the team – appropriate delegation;Strong influencing skills;Strong mentoring and team development abilities;Have a quick and flexible approach to problem solving, multi-tasking, and collaboration;Effective task execution and commitment required;Good operational and equipment knowledge;Proactive approach to NPI build execution.Work Environment:The work setting should consist of an office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and a low noise level.
