All rights reserved.Indirect Procurment ManagerJob Purpose Leads, drives the buying process for the assigned area, ensuring competitive pricing, right service and quality level with best terms & conditions while adherence to Akzo Nobel policies, rules and procedures. Implements global and develops regional category strategies as part of their geographic responsibility under the stewardship of the relevant Global or Regional Category Manager. Train and educate users on the tools, policies and procedures pertaining to NPR purchase. Key Responsabilities Source, support and facilitate the acquisition of NPR goods and services. Support the attainment of NPR procurement goals, both global, regional and local, related but not limited to saving, cost avoidance, supplier reduction, payment term improvement, catalogue buying, process improvement, sustainabilty, etc. Create and maintain relevant data for seamless execution of NPR buying process. Such data include but not limited to vendor information, catalogue, approval workflow, risk profile, data related to requisition and order etc. Ensure that all commercial contracts are executed in compliance to AN’'s policy, especially in area of legal requirement, approval & signing authority and contract life management. Perform spend analysis to identify and drive opportunities for cost reduction, supplier consolidation, payment term harmonization, contract coverage and catalogue expansion. At the same time, identify risk pertaining to conflict of interest, split purchase, classification errors and policy non-compliance. Job requirementsList the essential educational qualifications, relevant experience and required skills. Qualifications/ Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field or equivalent work experience Professional procurement accreditation will be an asset Minimum 3 years of experience in a country purchasing role with an international understanding Fluency in English and local language General Skills Good communication, presenting and interpersonal skills, problem solving, project management, team working/building.
