Operational Buyer Repaired Parts About the Role Location Romania Bucuresti Bucharest Organization Gas Services Business Unit Distributed Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Experienced Professional A Snapshot of Your Day As an operational buyer for repairs you will be responsible of the supply of materials based on customer requirements at the lowest price whilst ensuring quality & on-time delivery. You will be responsible for all operational procurement activities within your assigned commodity, including create and monitor purchasing orders, maintain up-to-date information in the relevant fields within the ERP system, and track procurement related KPIs. In this role, you will engage and cooperate with both internal departments and external suppliers to ensure success for the company.How You’ll Make an Impact Responsibility for the material supply of repaired gas turbine parts (in time and in proper quantity)Creating and monitoring Purchase orders, Securing Order confirmations and delivery dates and evaluation of suppliers.Interaction and close cooperation with the following departments: R&D, Quality Management, Order Management, Procurement, Warehousing and externally to SuppliersResponsibility for the purchasing of repaired gas turbine parts, including creating and monitoring Purchase orders, Securing Order confirmations and delivery dates and evaluation of suppliers.Preparing and clarifying Material requirements and establishing the respective forecasts and their communication to suppliersSecuring and checking supplier documentation, such as supplier declarations, certificates of origin, REACH & ROHS declarations and others.Take part in improving and developing our processes, especially in regards to repaired parts.What You BringUniversity degree in a business or technical field or training with relevant work experience alternativelyFirst professional experience, ideally in the field of (operational) purchasing or logisticsAdvanced knowledge of MS Office and intermediate knowledge of SAPProficiency in EnglishIndependent working style, as well as a certain affinity for digitalizationFirst experiences with Business Intelligence Tools ( Tableau, Qlik, Parse...) are an advantageKnowledge of how a manufacturing plant works could be an advantageWillingness to travel.About the Team:"Let’s make tomorrow different today" is our genuine commitment at Siemens Energy to all customers and employees on the way to a sustainable future.Within our Medium Gas Turbines service organization, we drive the energy transition by servicing and supporting our global customer base in their efforts to create energy.We work hard to ensure our customers has the service they need, whether it is parts, field service or new technical solutions for efficient power generation.
