This is a key role within the Global Delivery Services (GDS) team and will have a dual reporting role to the GDS Finance Senior Director based in the United States and the Europe GDC Managing Director based in Spain.

While this position is ideally located in either Warsaw, Poland or Madrid, Spain, other locations within Europe will be considered based on the candidate.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the local Finance teams in the Month End Closing process.

  • Develop and maintain financial compliance components for the Center, and support the EMIA Finance team in overall SOX and internal control compliance.

  • Act as the primary Finance contact for the delivery center regarding all key financial matters.

  • Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly/Annual financial and performance reporting and analysis.

  • Represent the financial perspective in the monthly operational forecast.

  • Own the Annual Operating Plan development and compilation for the Center.

  • Support rate development and analysis. Act as the GDS pricing coordinator for Spain and Poland.

  • Attend monthly Operations reviews and contribute on matters of Center finance.

  • Review financial data in Intercompany Agreements to understand P&L arrangements prior to sign off.

  • Manage project setups, maintenance, and invoicing.

  • Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in project accounting or financial management, preferably in a multinational engineering organization.

  • Experience working with Operations.

  • Excellent written and spoken English is essential.

  • Strong management skills and presence.

  • Ability to multi-task across multiple disciplines and manage projects simultaneously

  • Able to create collaborative relationships and influence key business stakeholders through innovative financial insight, controls, and interventions.

  • Desired Skills

  • Good written and spoken Spanish and/or Polish.

  • Knowledge of Oracle Software.

  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Finance related degree.
