The Oracle Database Administrator, part of the Infrastructure Services department, is responsible for managing and assuring availability of the databases and application servers.Your Day to Day•Create and maintain all databases required for development, testing, preproduction and production usage;•Ensure availability of databases and applications, according to Service Level Agreement;•Ensure support 24x7, in case of incidents, during the stand-by support period;•Understand the implications of Business Continuity Plan, implementation of Disaster Recovery solution and act accordingly;•Identify, implement and test the back-up and disaster recovery;•Perform periodic security monitoring in order to identify possible intrusions;•Implement database and application changes, according to the Change Management plan;•Understand all the implications of administrating a highly critical environment with online applications;•Perform monitoring of database servers and generate performance indicators;•Planning and management of upgrade and patches installations;•Troubleshooting and support for level 3 incidents;•Configure applications and components, respecting the ING security standards;•Collaborate with other team members (Application Administrators, System Administrators, Network Administrators);•Collaborate with other IT departments such as: monitoring & tooling, application development, infrastructureTechnologies:- Oracle- Linux- Docker- Git- Ansible- Puppet- SQL- PL SQL- Data WarehouseMore: What we offer•220-240 Euro per day (B2B contract), depending on experience, or… 13 000-14 500 net salary, if you prefer employment.•We offer consultancy and support in setting up your B2B, if case we don't have one.
