Mission

With this being front of mind, we are eagerly seeking an Operational Risk Analyst to come on board and provide guidance, advice and support for various risk initiatives.
You will have visibility across bank activities and you will have a key role in promoting governance standards and monitor the adherence to the operational risk practices throughout the organization.
Your day-to-day
- Advise, monitor and challenge of business management with respect to the execution of Root Cause Analysis and Lessons Learned in Event reporting process
- Monitors, reviews and challenges progress on mitigation / remediation actions, (periodic) progress updates and closure in iRisk
- Advise, challenge and review response (and evidence) for Non-audit and Accepted issues in terms of defining structural solutions and action plans with realistic target dates
- Perform Second Line Monitoring for Key control Testing
- Challenging the NFR risks together with the 1st line for the new/changed/reviewed product during the risk assessment and advising the 1st line in case of risk acceptance, waivers or deviation requests
- Monitor and advice on Outsourcing (Risk) process and challenge effectiveness of controls
- Advising and challenging during the Product Approval and review process, setting conditions if this is deemed necessary based on their assessment
- Perform monitoring activities to ensure adherence to global procedures and data quality exercises
What you bring to the team
- University degree;
- 2-4 years prior expertise in the financial services industry;
- Knowledge on bank’s processes (at least one area: i.e Retail, WB)
- Knowledge in areas such as operational risk, audit and compliance will be a plus;
- Knowledge of local/ applicable regulations
- A team player with strong and effective communication skills
- Good negotiator
- Fluent in written and spoken English;
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to details
