The role of the Payroll Specialist Intern is to support the Payroll Specialist / Sr. Payroll Specialist/ Payroll Subject Matter Expert function by contributing to the payroll processing activities for a portfolio of clients (from 1 to 10 clients).
Responsibilities:
- Input accurate data into the payroll system (massive data import or manual input): new hires forms, terminations, flexiform update, CRP update, submit employee's personal data changes (name, address, banking details, deductions etc.), contractual changes (contract type, duration, job change, salary increase), etc.
- Archive client data input and payroll output.
- Perform quality checks to ensure that client data is accurately integrated in the system.
- Monitor the clients service requests daily.
- Perform gross-up calculations using ZPP test tool.
- Respect all deadlines communicated by Team Leader / Payroll Specialist / Sr. Payroll Specialist/ Payroll Subject Matter Expert.
- Produce accurate payroll processing activities.
- Maintain client payroll procedure manuals and business process documents.
- Suggest processes and controls tools improvements.
Education & Experience:
- Degree or Equivalent: Bachelor's Degree
- Major Area of Concentration: IT / Business / Accounting / HR Management
