Performance Management Engineer in Timisoara

Job Description

Our client, a leading global IT service provider, is recruiting for a Performance Management Engineer to join their project in Romania.

Qualifications:

• BE/Diploma in computer science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communications with relevant experience.

• 5 to 8 years of experience in working with NOC environment 

• Strong Knowledge on Fixed Technology & GPON and its connectivity

• Working experience on FTTH network. 

• Good understanding of MetroE networks and Broadband networks.

• Good Knowledge of Performance Metrics ,Indicators and KPI’s 

• Have good analytical and technical issue resolution skills.

• Good Knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint

• Knowledge of Scripting is an added advantage

• Good communication skills and process orientation

Must Have Skills:

• KPI monitoring and  root cause analysis for KPI changes

• Incident creation, cancelling, clearing, resolving, and closing  for all KPI related degradations and issues

• Calls Handling from different stakeholders

• First level diagnosis of all minor, major and critical alarms.

• Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Adhoc  reports preparation

• Maintain Network KPI’s as per agreed target

• Accepting new nodes for Performance Management

• Follow and adhere SLAs and KPIs for Network alarms and Customer complaints.

• Co-ordinate with IM, FO,BO, TAC and FLM teams

• Raise tickets as a part of problem management for recurring faults

• Check KPI’s pre and post change implementation
