Job Description As a Performance Test Engineer, you will: Perform performance testing within cloud-native environments to ensure system scalability, reliability, and efficiency. Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to optimize application performance and stability. Utilize Sys Admin skills to improve testing efficiency, particularly in configuring environments and managing system resources. Write and execute Python scripts to automate and streamline performance tests and data collection. Work with MySQL databases to assess performance and optimize query execution. Use tools like Jenkins, JMeter, and Seagull to manage and execute performance testing tasks. Monitor application and system performance using Prometheus and Grafana for real-time insights and alerts. What You Bring to the Table: Minimum of 2+ years of experience in performance testing, ideally in cloud-native environments. Hands-on experience with Python scripting to automate testing and data processing tasks. Knowledge and practical application of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to ensure high system reliability and performance. Experience working with MySQL databases, with the ability to assess and optimize database performance. Familiarity with testing tools such as JMeter, Jenkins, and Seagull for automation and performance testing. Practical experience using Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring system performance and setting up alerts. Strong Sys Admin skills for setting up and configuring test environments and improving test execution efficiency. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on improving system performance through optimization and monitoring. You should possess the ability to: Conduct performance tests independently and in collaboration with the development team to assess the scalability of applications.
