Job Description  Piping & Systems Designer - Senior / Piping Engineer Job summary You will be working in the design & engineering department undertaking pipe detail design activities for newbuild and retrofit / conversion projects . You will be required to deeply understand piping design principles, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and strong communication skills to coordinate with other departments. Responsibilities: ·         Applying typical or specific knowledge and engineering principles and practices within PIPING discipline; ·         Develop 3D models based on P&ID schemes and diagrams; ·         Develop detail and production drawings; ·         Applying only controlled design or engineering tools and methods (calculation spreadsheets, etc) for the execution of the assigned project activity; ·         Checking / reviewing own work before submitting any deliverable for internal checking process. Department: Design & Engineering Experience rating: 8 years Contract type: Full time employment (Hybrid work) Requirements      Bachelor’s Degree in Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering;      At least 8 years of uninterrupted design activity, with significant experience in basic design;      Extensive knowledge of core design software tools and capabilities utilized within piping&systems discipline;      Expert in interpretation of class rules and other industry codes (ISO, NS, EUROCODE, etc);      Fluent in English, both written and verbal; Additional requirement s :        Master Degree in a related field of activity is an advantage;        Highly advantageous to have a good understanding of the requirements of ISO 9001: 2015.
