Planning Manager in Bucuresti

Role Purpose: The purpose of this role is to provide support to the Planning and Buying team, taking responsibility for all planning tasks (mainly TV related) on a dedicated set of clients and ensure campaigns run smoothly and to plan. The role combines creative thinking with factual analysis to develop appropriate TV strategies to ensure that campaigns reach their target audiences as effective as possible. Job Title:Planning Manager Job Description: Key Accountabilities: Effectively runs the day-to-day client’s campaigns on key accounts (from planning and optimization to weekly and final post-buy reporting) Develops various options for media plans based on the client's objectives Works in close collaboration with the client and the account team to understand the client's business objectives and advertising strategy Works with other departments to ensure a campaign goes live on time through the use of best practice and solving media problems (e.g: billings discrepancies, delivery problems) Undertakes research and analyse data using specialist industry resources incl. target audience analysis (characteristics, behaviour and media habits) Builds and develops media owner relationships in order to drive market leading planning for clients Uses understanding of commercial opportunities and trading focuses to ensure investment is guided towards the most appropriate partner Present proposals, including cost schedules, to clients The Ideal Candidate: +5 year experience in media planning incl. strategic media planning Capable to prepare a consistent TV media plan, considering all requirements and a budget Ability to work with IT resources such as InstarAnalytics for the collection and management of information Good grasp of literacy for writing reports and presentations Highly developed Project Management and client relationship skills Excellent communication / numerical skills Excellent attention to detail Pro-active and open to new ways of thinking, always looking for opportunities to drive a client’s business forward Highly analytical and great problem-solving skills Ability to pre-empt issues and be proactive in producing solutions Capable to work under pressure and with short deadlines Aptitude to build and maintain strong working relationships Solutions orientated with strong critical thinking skill Excellent Power Point and Excel skills Fluent in English Package Description: In addition to a competitive salary, we are committed to creating a great environment for all our people.
