Player QOS QA Specialists ensure that any live game outage is detected and reported in the quickest of manners so that the end user impact is minimal. You will work on a variety of platforms (PC, Mobile, Microsoft Xbox, Sony PlayStation, Nintendo Switch) and collaborate closely with other QOS QA Specialists, Production teams and technical support teams.
Reporting live game outages within minutes of their occurrence will be your measure of effectiveness.
Main responsibilities:
- Autonomously test and report outages and live issues
- Alert clients in a quick and timely manner
- Investigate and follow-up on issues with production teams and support teams
- Steadily master all platforms by working alongside and learning from your more experienced colleagues
- Collaborate with colleagues as needed to achieve proper coverage
- Compile reports on games and issues status
- Have ownership of issues and outages found and follow up on them until they are solved
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of QA experience
- Basic know-how of testing methodologies
- Good knowledge of at least one gaming platform
- Familiar with the video game development process and environment
- Very good communication skills
- Excellent English skills – both written and verbal
- Be a team player, while having great work ethic
- Sharp observation skills and quickness in reaction
- Passion for video games
