Your Day-To-Day:This role will provide you with the chance to be in the middle of strategic conversations around PTC’s IT project and product portfolio priorities and provide you with the opportunity to engage with senior leaders across both IT and our business units. In your day-to-day you will partner with Portfolio Managers to intake large project requests, as well as manage your own medium to small project requests. Additionally, you will play a critical role analyzing portfolio data, identifying trends/insights and creating dashboards/reports that help drive portfolio success. You will report to the Director of IT Portfolio Management.Responsibilities:Support Portfolio Managers in engagements with senior members of PTC’s business units and IT leadership, including creation of business cases and monitoring return on investment (ROI) of selected projectsCapture and analyze data utilized for IT project selection and create action plans to resolve issues prior to project approvalsMaintain data and reports in our Portfolio Management toolSupport the Portfolio Managers in Portfolio Governance preparation and executionHelp develop and evolve Portfolio Processes and best practicesWork collaboratively with Enterprise Architecture, the Project Management Office (PMO) and the Product Delivery teams to ensure successful project/product deliverySkills and knowledge:Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (both oral and written) with the ability to clearly communicate complex messages to a variety of audiences.Ability to effectively interact at all levels across the organization, working to build and maintain successful relationships across all departments.Possess a thorough understanding of information technology and its application to business issues; understands the use of information technology in a strategic context; is conversant with current technologies and trends.Ability to make decisions quickly and efficiently.Knowledge and related work experience of the portfolio management process, theory and lifecycle, including Agile methodology (SAFe knowledge preferred)Detail-oriented with proven ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and oversee multiple projects, manage schedules, resource allocation/planning and maximize work efforts across all teams.Possess excellent prioritization, resource planning and management skills as well as proven ability in the identification, assessment and contingency planning and managing for risk factors.Life at PTC is about more than working with today’s most cutting-edge technologies to transform the physical world.
