A postdoc researcher position is available within the research project `The response of climate-sensitive environments to global warming, sea-level rise and increasing extremes: the Carpathians and Danube delta` (ClimaLAND), project number RO-NO-2019-0415.
The applicant will deal with field activity in the alpine area of the Romanian Carpathians and GIS analysis and will be involved in the following activities:
- Acquiring in-situ ground-based DGPS measurements (Retezat Mountains);
- Obtaining in-situ terrestrial laser scanning and/or UAV-derived DEMs;
- Analysis of the internal structure of debris deposits by drilling and coring and geophysical soundings;

PhD study in Geomorphology;
Skills in geomorphology, remote sensing (UAV`s), GIS and geophysics (GPR).
