Your role is to be an ambassador for the Agile and DevOps way of working within our global NXP organization. As Product Owner Modern Workplace, you will be challenged in this exciting IT role that is transforming NXP’s Modern Workplace by managing Windows Endpoints, CMDB and IT Asset management processes.

Your responsibilities

  • Lead agile and vendor managed team members who are responsible for administrating Windows Operating global endpoints.
  • Agile team is responsible for Windows PC endpoint hardening and security tools such as Bitlocker or Local admin. password solution.
  • Manages global processes using CMDB tools for tracking and maintain data accuracy throughout asset lifecycle.
  • Responsibility for the global PC fleet Certified Software and Hardware List including driving Lifecycle management.
  • Lead the Agile team for this product, working within a team including a Product Manager, Scrum Master, Architecture, Security and DevOps team members.
  • Work close together with other Workplace agile teams including Microsoft EndPoint Manager, VDI, and SCCM teams.
  • Ensure proper communication, testing and user adoption of changes
  • Lead efforts to document and share technical knowledge within team and with other support teams
  • Works with product teams to define requirements and help assure the system evolves to meet the real needs of the stakeholders.

This role reports directly into Brad Fagan, IT Manager Digital Workplace Services, who is based in Chandler, Arizona USA.

Your profile

To be successful in this role you have:

  • University degree with IT orientation and 5+ years of system administration work experience with Windows 7 / Windows 10 management in a global enterprise.
  • 3+ years of relevant IT experience in designing and deploying enterprise level IT infrastructure solutions within multinational organizations
  • Broad/generic knowledge and understanding in all components that exist around the Windows PC fleet in a global infrastructure.
  • Software license contract and hardware vendor management experience.
  • 1+ years’ experience as Product Owner.
  • Structured, analytical and logical mindset.
  • Solid experience in the field of technical documentation and the ability to present complex interrelationships in an easy and understandable way.
  • Constant desire to improve the status quo, to learn about and discover new things.
  • Experience with acting between business & IT service organization, being persuasive when required.
  • Experience working in DevOps model
  • Collaborative team player with a passion for continuous learning.

Furthermore, you are:

  • Agility and flexibility with changing priorities and business needs and in working with diverse teams and people
  • Excellent problem-solving skills – able to identify, analyze and propose solutions to various technical and business issues
  • Strong analytical skills - must be able to assemble and interpret data and deliver business insights
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, “self-starter” environment serving as a catalyst for change and managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.

What can you expect

Contract: This is a fulltime position with a permanent contract
